Closing up Shop: 100 Days Challenge

May 15, 2017

I regret to inform you all that the 100 days challenge will soon be coming to a close. It has a been a fun yet challenging adventure.

As you can see from previous blog post, I have learned many things. But the lesson that I've learned most of all is confidence. Throughout my life, I have been so afraid to show my drawings to anyone for fear of shame, unworthiness and embarrassment. Yet, I have received so much support from people online who love my drawings and characters. I realized that I was being so critical of myself and my drawings and sometimes I just need to let loose.

Just from doing this project, I have gained so much inspiration and confidence to learn more and do more. I hope in the future that I will be able to bring my illustrations to life whether it's 2D or 3D. I hope to be able to get more involved with the art community and grow as an artist.

Since this is a class project, I have to write a 5-7 page paper and complete a presentation. However, this has been an fun project and I don't image the paper nor the presentation will be difficult.

As promised, I will be creating a sort-a promo video Soon, I will be posting my final video of my drawings to my social media. On Wednesday, I will post one final blog post which will include the promo video and of course my paper.

Wish me luck!
