The folder of shame
Art has always been a part of my life. Even when I was bad at it
Growing up, I was taught that being an artist wasn’t a viable career. As if it’s was written in stone that you will end up living in a tiny New York apartment struggling to make ends meet while eating $1 ramen—or worse, with your parents. But, his didn’t stop me. I was always drawn to digital art even before I knew what it was. I spent so many nights of my childhood staying up late, blasting music, and trying to draw on Microsoft Paint. Plus, I enjoy ramen. In high school, I kept at it even though I was “supposed to be” focused on joining the STEM field. I even upgraded my software from Paint to Powerpoint. I would make anything from t-shirts to posters in powerpoint for my school. I know that the print shop hated me for this. But, I was having so much fun solving problems through art. Those designs will never see the light again.
COLLLISON REALTY MY FIRST WEBSITE DESIGN
In college, I designed my first website for Collison Realty using WordPress and CSS. Even though I was self-taught, I worked hard to design something I could be somewhat proud of.
MORE THAN A PRINCESS PROJECT MY FIRST WEBSITE DESIGN
At this point, I finally felt confident with Illustrator. I used it to fulfill a class assignment on social media activism that focused on gendered stereotypes in Disney princesses. Nowadays, I just cringe at the paint splatters.
CITY OF LAKEWOOD REBRAND UNDERGRADUATE CAPSTONE
“As long as you're having fun then that's all that matters grandbaby!"
—My grandmother
I was feeling ambitious so I tackled a city rebrand for my final culminating project. Let's be honest, the logo is bad but I did my best. Click the image for the full report.
HIGH SCHOOL LEADERSHIP SHIRTS MY FIRST TSHIRT DESIGNS
In high school, I created a lot of designs but I only knew how to use PowerPoint. While it was very resourceful of me, the printers absolutely hated me for sending .pptx file.

MY FIRST DESIGNS I DONT KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING
As a kid, I loved to make graphics from songs that were purely fueled by emotions. This is how I truly started in design. Some of these passion pieces is how I landed my internship. Fun fact: My grandma has an archive of all my "original" artworks.
