The El Sueñito Brewery” Project
“Sueñito” means “little dream” in Spanish and I used this ideology plus the founder’s backstory as major inspiration for the brand, logo, label art, and web design. Dennis and Osbaldo weren't just opening a brewery – they were creating Washington's first queer Latinx-owned brewery in an industry that desperately needed more representation.
Many iterations of the original concepts reflected the idea of campfires, the forest, dreamy objects, or dream guides common in Mexican culture. The founders wanted to combine their Mexican heritage with the Pacific Northwest. Thus, we settled on the wolf and moon design with Dia de Los Muertos accents to marry the contrasting cultures together.

Watching the brand come to life
It has been such an exciting process watching the brewery adopt the brand and how it comes to life. They are even utilizing some of the content and tone I included in their brand guidelines on their social media. Making this brand become a community for those hopeful wanders and big dreamers will help them stand out from the fierce competition and better connect with their targeted demographic.
Since the brewery open in Bellingham, WA back in 2022, the impact of the brand and our partnership has been immense. El Sueñito has generated $4.2M+ in net sales in their first full operational year and built a thriving community achieving 2x engagement vs. leading competitors. They maintain a 4.8-star rating across 126+ Google reviews and had lines out the door on opening day. Through our ongoing retainer partnership, I've designed half of their entire beer lineup and work on their designs. I continue to support their growth as their dedicated creative partner, ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence as they expand.
But we're not done yet! The founders and I continue working together on new beer labels, merch designs, event campaigns, and creative projects as their ongoing creative partner.
