Working in the big city: Seattle
Knack Collective is a marketing agency based in Seattle, Washington. Knack often partnered with major corporations like Microsoft, Amazon, and Citrix to develop business-to-business campaigns and strategies. As a junior designer for Knack, I supported the team by creating multiple print and digital assets for complex, time-sensitive projects. I worked on campaigns for the office, like the knack rebrand, and many of our big partner projects like the Puma #Reform campaign and Microsoft’s PDG program by colloborating with internal and external teams.

PDG Campaigns
Many of the projects at Knack involved Microsoft and their Partner Demand Generation (PDG) program. The PDG program helps partners develop assets that create lead-gen opportunities for partners—from tailored acquisition campaigns and targeted webinars to LinkedIn media efforts. I was responsible for combining the partner’s brand with Microsoft to create cobranded assets—ensuring each campaign was customized but followed Microsoft’s guidelines. These assets included an interactive PDF, an email design, and two social media assets. I lost count along the way but I worked on at least 50 PDG campaigns for Teradata, Citrix, Adobe, Flintfox, and much more.
#Reform Puma Posters
I love working with physical mediums like print design, but I also love protest designs. So when I was tasked with designing a set of posters for Puma’s #Reform campaign, I was thrilled! In 2018, Puma launched a social reform campaign focused on ending racial, LGBTQIA+, and gender discrimination. For this design, I heavily researched protest art and gender discrimination issues so each poster could personify “Gender equality is a fundamental human right.”
